[Special collection required] Please note this specimen is not collected on site. Specimen container is provided by service center, and specimen is collected by the customer at home and dropped off at the service center so it can be sent to the lab for testing.
Special instruction: Following a diet of at least 60g of fat recommended. Suppositories, mineral oil, and oily material should be avoided prior to collection.
Description: A test that indicates whether levels of fecal fat in stool are normal or elevated.
Turnaround time: Expected turnaround is within 3-6 business days, although this may vary depending on other tests ordered for the same blood draw, and expected variation with testing.
