Step 1: Select Your Tests

Whether you’re partaking in a citizen science experiment, or just looking to get some additional markers to go over with your doctor, there’s plenty of tests waiting on the Shop page. As soon as you have the items you’d like to order added to your cart, you’re ready to checkout.

Step 2: Fill Out Your Information

Once on the checkout page, fill out the required fields. This information is needed in order to return the proper reference ranges, so your results can be linked up in your Labcorp Online Portal, and so we can email you your lab order form.

Note: Due to state laws regarding private lab ordering, we cannot fulfill orders intended to be redeemed in Rhode Island, New York, or New Jersey.

Step 2a: (Optional) Submit Your Anonymous Data

One of the biggest reasons we started this service is to provide an anonymous data pool to the scientific community, but your participation is optional. If you choose to submit your data (and we hope you do), please read the <terms and conditions>, use the coupon code at the bottom for a discount and to submit your data, and fill out the fields marked “optional” on the checkout page. By using this code you agree to the terms. If you choose not to submit your data, simply skip using the coupon code and your data will not be added to the anonymous data pool.

Step 3: Print Out Your Lab Order Form

After you checkout, you’ll receive an email with a PDF of your lab order form. This form must be printed (not in digital form) and brought with you to your local Labcorp at the time of your blood draw.

Step 4: Find Your Nearest LabCorp

Find your nearest LabCorp and either walk in, or schedule an appointment by calling. Check in at the kiosk, hand your lab order form to the LabCorp attendant at the counter when you’re called, and they’ll take care of the rest.

Step 5: Enjoy Your Data

In a few days to a few weeks (depending on the tests ordered) you should receive your results in your LabCorp portal. These can be viewed, or downloaded, as desired so you can add them to your records, use them for citizen science experiments, or take them to your doctor for further interpretation.

Important: Make Sure you Have a LabCorp Online Portal

In order to receive your lab results when they’re done processing, make sure you’ve signed up for a LabCorp Online Patient Portal.

Important: Regardless of whether you create a new account or have an existing LabCorp Online Portal account, please verify that the information you provide at checkout matches your LabCorp account information exactly (name, date of birth, address). Due to LabCorp’s policies, providing information that doesn’t match your account information may result in a delay in results, or other issues. If you need to correct any information after you’ve placed your order, merely email shuggins@ownyourlabs.com with the corrected information and we’ll be happy to update the information on the lab order form for you.

You must have a LabCorp Online Patient Portal account in order to receive your results.
